TAMIU is — and always has been — a university for the community. Since the beginning, we've been committed to public service, and we remain focused on our goal to effect positive change in the community, the state, the nation and the world. Whether we're teaming up with local organizations to tackle health care issues, bringing the arts to underserved areas, providing college readiness support, or collaborating with statewide and national groups to solve environmental problems, TAMIU has a rich tradition of partnership-building with organizations and community members, all in an effort to promote equity, access, and social justice.
